About the Event
Dear St. Louis follows the story of a college dropout named Junior. He battles with his own mental health issues but does his best to not fall victim to them. He lives with his mother in St. Louis where it seems like the only things around him are negative influences, crime, and complacency. As he tries to chase his dreams and find a way out of this environment, he fails. Time and time again he fails and it adds to the depression he is secretly denying. The pressures and negativity of everything happening around him continue to pull him into a darker state of mind. One opportunity can change everything for him, but he may be too far gone into his own mind. Junior has to decide if he wants to be a victim of his environment or be an agent of change.
